Refund Policy

The 90-Day Brand-New Promise
Every AUTOMOD product is backed by a 90-day money-back guarantee starting from the date of delivery (per USPS tracking). If you're not satisfied for any reason within those 90 days, we issue a full refund β and you keep the product.
What "full refund" means
A full refund covers:
- The product price
- The shipping you paid (if any)
- Any sales tax collected at checkout
Refunds are issued to the original payment method (credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other Stripe-supported method).
How to request a refund
- Email support@automod.shop within 90 days of delivery.
- Include your order number (starts with AM-) and the reason for the refund. The reason can be as simple as "I changed my mind."
- We respond within 1 business day to confirm.
- Refund is issued within 3β5 business days of confirmation.
You keep the product
We don't ask you to ship the product back. The cost of return shipping plus inspection plus restocking would exceed the value of the item β and we'd rather the customer have a free product than play postal pingpong. Keep it, give it to a friend, or donate it.
If you're returning it because the product arrived damaged or defective, please send a photo when emailing us β we'll also ship a free replacement so you actually have a working AUTOMOD.
When the refund window ends
The 90-day window starts on the date the package is marked "Delivered" in USPS tracking. After day 90, our 5-Year Warranty covers manufacturing defects and structural failures, but standard refunds are no longer available.
How long refunds take to appear
After we approve your refund, your bank or card issuer determines how quickly the credit appears on your statement:
- Apple Pay / Google Pay / debit card: typically 3β5 business days
- Credit card: typically 5β10 business days
- If you don't see it after 10 business days, contact your bank first β then email us.
Partial refunds
We don't issue partial refunds in normal cases. The Brand-New Promise is all-or-nothing β if you ask for a refund, you get the full amount back. If only part of your order has an issue, we'll refund just that item or ship a replacement, whichever you prefer.
Cancellations before shipping
Orders that have not yet shipped can be cancelled for a full immediate refund. Email us within 1 hour of placing the order.
Refunds on bundle orders
If you bought the bundle ($99, organizer + trash can) and want to keep one item but refund the other, email us. We'll calculate a fair partial refund based on the individual prices ($69 organizer, $39 trash can) minus the bundle discount.
Exchanges
We don't offer exchanges (we only sell two products and color is fixed). If you're unhappy, request a refund and place a new order if appropriate.
Chargebacks
If you initiate a credit-card chargeback for an order we've already attempted to resolve, we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback with your card issuer. Please contact us first β we'll always solve it faster than your card company can.
