The AUTOMOD Warranty

Every AUTOMOD product is backed by three layers of protection. We can do this because we use the same products in our own family car — and they don't fail.

Layer 1 — 90-Day Brand-New Promise

For the first 90 days from delivery, you can return your AUTOMOD product for any reason. You keep the product, we refund you in full.

• No return shipment required.
• No restocking fee.
• "I changed my mind" is a valid reason.
• Full refund to original payment method within 3–5 business days of approval.

Layer 2 — 1-Year Warranty

For 12 months from delivery, AUTOMOD covers manufacturing defects on every product, including:

• Stitching that comes apart in normal use
• Velcro that loses adhesion in normal use
• PEVA liner that peels or tears
• Buckles or clips that crack or break
• Zipper failure (if applicable)
• Any other structural defect that wasn't caused by abuse

If a defect occurs in year one, email support@automod.shop with your order number and a photo. We'll ship a replacement at no charge — no return required.

Layer 3 — The 5-Year Won't-Fall-Apart Promise

From year 1 through year 5 after delivery, AUTOMOD will replace your product free of charge if any of these structural failures occur:

• Seams split open
• Handles tear or detach from the body
• Strap snaps under normal use
• Velcro fully loses adhesion
• PEVA waterproof liner peels off the inner walls
• Reinforced base loses structural integrity

To make a 5-Year Promise claim, email us with your order number, a photo of the failure, and a brief description of how it happened. Approved claims ship a brand-new replacement at no cost to you.

What's not covered

The warranty does not cover:

• Cosmetic wear (color fading, surface scuffs from normal use)
• Stains or spills (the product is wipe-clean and water-resistant — but accidents happen and aren't a defect)
• Damage from machine washing or tumble drying (the rigid base panels are not machine-washable)
• Damage caused by overloading beyond the rated capacity (60+ lbs for the trunk organizer, 2.5 gallons for the trash can)
• Damage from intentional abuse, modification, or commercial-grade use beyond personal vehicle use
• Damage from third-party accessories that are not part of the AUTOMOD product
• Loss or theft of the product

How to file a claim

1. Email support@automod.shop
2. Include: order number, photo of the defect or failure, brief description, and your current shipping address
3. We respond within 1 business day with next steps
4. Approved claims ship a free replacement within 2 business days

Transferability

The warranty applies to the original purchaser only. It does not transfer with the product if you sell it or give it away.

Limitations

Warranty replacement is limited to a single replacement per defect or failure event. AUTOMOD's total liability under this warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the affected product. AUTOMOD is not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, lost income, or damage to vehicles or other property.

Some U.S. states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
